Shimamom

Crystal Age is a webcomic heavily inspired by Rebecca Sugar’s ‘Steven Universe’ and Haruko Ichikawa’s ‘Houseki No Kuni’, following a group of male characters, all of them based off real life gemstones, such as Lapis Lazuli and Diamond.

The comic follows the young and fragile Chrysocolla, or just 'Chrys’, for short, a young jewel who, because of the circumstances of his birth, that being the fact he’s a jewel of hardness 2.5, is stuck in a life of monotony, in a job he dislikes and unalowed to go outside. He contempts himself with mere dreams of exploring the outside, but those dreams will soon prove to not be enough to satiate his curiosity.
